So you've booked the tickets and what's next? Just bear in mind that I'm no expert and this is purely from my experience with trekking/climbing during winter and especially going for higher altitude climbs. My partner and I have experimented with every trek that we go to since 2004 when we first embarked on Annapurna Base Camp(picture below). Ever since that adventure, we fell in love with the intensity, challenge each trek/climb brings. Ok so let's get into it.
Packing list

So from experience after each trek/climb, our packing list becomes so minimal because on most of our trekking trip(during winter), we hardly change our clothes. The most important factor was to keep ourselves dry and warm during the trip.
The other thing we decided on was to travel light on the equipments we bring along with us. Which means we only had my Iphone and a GoPro. The one item we felt helped us get through the rough stretch or to just chill after a long days walk that kept us sane is our Ultimate Ear Speaker(also known as UE Speaker). So here is the list, the ones in BOLD are the ones we packed with us.

Ok so you must wondering how can all this fit into a backpack? I use a 65L backpack(carried at the back) + a smaller daypack(carried in the front). This is pretty much the packing list we use for our winter treks and of course everyone is different and there are preference, so play around with the list. You wouldn't know which is best until you've given it a go.
Safe travels & may the road ahead be filled with awesome adventures! 🤘🏼
